A pair of superb quality and exceptional condition Original French Flintcocks, with excellent engraved faces.
Would suit a fowling piece or Double barreled shotgun.
Top Jaws are of 'scalloped' design.
The Top Jaw Screws are profiled beautifully and have no slot, instead a through hole is used.
The squares on both are 5.45 - 5.5mm across.
The throw dimension of this type of cock is taken from the square center to under the 'chin' where the cock comes to rest on the pan fence. The right hand measures at 30.00mm, the left hand 29.5mm.
