The Dembart range of Tools and Cutters...		 The Dembart tool is engineered to satisfy the exacting demands of the precision craftsman.
You only need to use it for a few moments to realise that it is possible to achieve a professional checkered finish, just push it along and feel the easy manner in which it cuts.
Shallow, deep, straight or around corners, with grain or against it, is all the same to these tools. Cutters are made from steel and hardened to give long service.

Cutters and Handles are sold seperately to give you the wider choice.

This well balanced wood handle is supplied as "Handle only". The different style Cutters fit this standard handle and are all interchangeable.

This allows you to purchase several cutters of your choice along with one or two handles, this option is mainly for those who do not undertake a great deal of checkering.
However those who do prefer the idea of ready to use tools at hand on the work bench, may decide to order a handle for each cutter purchased. The choice is yours.....

Dembart cutter style 2		 Used for marking the rows and deepening the rows after they are marked. One blade follows the guide line while the other marks the next row. When this tool is moved to the next row it deepens it and again marks the next row and son on. Both blades are cutters.

Dembart cutter style 3		 A left hand spacing tool that has two blades. The right hand blade does not have teeth, instead it is smooth and will follow a fine guide line. The left hand blade has teeth and will cut the new row as the checkering progreses from right to left. Due to the sharp narrow guide blade it is possible to produce very straight rows and very precise checkering.
