USA Discount
After an excess of thirty years trading within the United States we have seen many different turns in the behavior of the monetary exchange rates between the Pound and the Dollar.
For many years the ratio was at an acceptable level to both Countries, both appreciating that slight changes were inevitable considering the sometimes volatile financial market place, however the present day rate of nearly two Dollars to the UK Pound has set a level that is without question an obstacle to the trading relationship between the two Countries.
We have valued the custom received from the USA over the years and feel that in the present circumstances a discount applied to purchases may act to retain some confidence within our overseas customer base.
Our prices have remained steady for some years now, yet the exchange rate has resulted in the American market paying considerably more for our goods, which naturally has been a concern to us.
We have therefore, after careful consideration decided to discount orders to the USA by 20% (excluding shipping), this will apply to all Lock and Furniture castings only. (Tools and Pistol Kits are excluded at present). There will be no minimum purchase requirement.
Although the discounted pricing will no doubt be welcomed, the items will continue to be produced with the same highest quality materials and expertise that we have applied since we first began manufacturing our own products some thirty years ago.
Please Note:
-Verbal or Faxed orders will be priced as per the discounted rate at time of pricing quotation.
-On-Line orders will not show the discount at time of ordering, however will be discounted at point of invoice.
-We do reserve the right to remove any discount as mentioned above, however we would do so by making a courtesy announcement through our Web site.
Naturally any orders filed at such a time would be honored.
